KUALA LUMPUR, 24 May 2024 – Minister of Defence, YB Khaled Nordin officiated the Conferment of Darjah Kebesaran Angkatan Tentera Kehormat, which is the Panglima Gagah Angkatan Tentera (PGAT) to the Australian Chief of Air Force, Air Marshal Robert Chipman at Wisma Pertahanan.

The PGAT xx is bestowed to Chief of Armed Forces and Chiefs of Army, Navy and Air Force to acknowledge their excellent services. The conferment is also given to foreign chiefs for their contribution to the nation, especially in the context of defence diplomacy.

The Ministry of Defence and Malaysian Armed Forces hereby congratulates the Australian Chief of Air Force, Air Marshal Robert Chipman for the award. It is hoped that the bond between Malaysia and Australia can be strengthened to a higher level.
