KUALA LUMPUR, 5 May 2024 – Minister of Defence, YB Dato’ Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin, and Minister of Home Affairs, YB Dato’ Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail, attended the Media Walkabout session to preview and observe the final preparations for the Defence Services Asia (DSA) 2024 and National Security Asia (NATSEC ASIA) 2024 exhibitions at MITEC, Kuala Lumpur.

Themed as "Building Resilient Nations for the Next Generation", the exhibition aims to highlight the development of Malaysia’s defence industry and strive to strengthen international cooperation.

Over 400 local and international media practitioners registered online to participate, gaining early insight into the exhibitions and viewing showcased assets and technologies.

1,324 companies from 60 countries and 34 national group pavilions participated. Turkey, China, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Italy, and the United States also attended. In addition,  the exhibition site this year is 30% larger than the previous edition, covering an area of 48,000 square meters.

Also present were Secretary General of the Ministry of Defence, Datuk Seri Isham bin Ishak, Chief of Defence Force, General Tan Sri Dato' Seri Mohammad bin Ab Rahman, and Service Chiefs.
