MELAKA, 15 May 2024 – A total of 166 civilians and 43 retirees, including those approaching retirement, were commemorated during the Excellence Services Award (APC), Service Medal, and Jasamu Dikenang 2024 Southern Zone Presentation Ceremony. This event aimed to appreciate the contributions of the personnel.

APC recipients were presented with the Excellence Service Certificate and performance incentives worth RM1, 000.00, while civil retirees who underwent mandatory retirement received an Appreciation Certificate and incentives worth RM600.00. Only mandatory retirees are eligible for the Pingat Perkhidmatan dan Pekerti Terbilang (PPT).

The ceremony was officiated by Deputy Secreatry General (Management), Ybhg. Datin Roszanina binti Wahab at Kem Terendak, 10th Brigade, Melaka.

Additionally, the conferment also aligns with the Ministry of Defence Strategic Plan (PSM) under the 3rd Pillar: Preserving the Welfare of Defence Personnel (WKP). This recognition and award can push WKP towards providing the best devotional service.
