KUALA LUMPUR, 7 May 2024 – Minister of Defence, YB Dato’ Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordim witnessed the Letter of Intent (LOI) Signing Ceremony between the Armed Forces Fund Board Foundation (YLTAT), University of Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) and Global Turbine Asia Sdn. Bhd. (GTA) at MITEC.

This collaboration is part of YLTAT's Jejak Bakat Anak Tentera (JEBAT) initiative, in partnership with GTA and UniKL, to support the government's efforts in enhancing the sustainability of education and skills training across various fields such as science, literature, business, engineering, and more. The program aims to holistically increase the marketability of children of Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF) personnel and veterans by providing industrial training and pathways for competitive job placements.

This initiative will be implemented over a period of two years, from June 2024 to May 2026.
