TURKIYE, 11 June 2024 – Minister of Defence, YB Dato’ Seri Mohamed Khaled bin Nordin conducted a Courtesy Call on this counterpart, H.E. Yasar Guler at the Turkiye Ministry of National Defence (MoND), Ankara.

During the meeting, both ministers co-chaired the inaugural Malaysia-Turkiye High-Level Committee on Defence Cooperation (HLC). They discussed strengthening defence relations between the two countries and exchanged viewpoints on national defence and security. Additionally, the ministers witnessed the signing of the Cooperative Framework Agreement (CFA) between Malaysia's AIROD and Turkiye’s ASFAT.

Upon arrival, YB Dato’ Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin was received by the Ceremonial and Marching Team of MoND, symbolizing the official visit of the Ministry of Defence Malaysia delegation.
