TURKIYE, 11 Jun 2024 – Minister of Defence, YB Dato’ Seri Mohamed Khaled bin Nordin, during his visit to Turkiye, conducted tours of Aselsan and the Mechanical and Chemical Industry Corporation (MKE).

He received briefings and observed the operations of both companies. Additionally, he had the opportunity to visit Aselsan's facilities and MKE's weaponry cartridge factory, currently in development.

This visit opened the door for the Ministry of Defence to explore opportunities for the local defence industry to collaborate with foreign companies in joint research and development and technology transfer.
