PAHANG, 13 May 2024 – Minister of Defence, YB Khaled Nordin, conducted a working visit to the Joint Forces Headquarters, the MAF Polyclinic construction site, and the Armed Forces Family Housing (RKAT) in Kuantan.

During his visit, YB Minister of Defence inspected the construction site of the MAF Batu 10 Polyclinic, which is slated for completion by July 2025. This project will significantly benefit the entire MAF and Ministry of Defence personnel and their families stationed in the Kuantan area.

Following this, he visited the Batu 10 RKAT Camp and the Kuantan Air Base to closely monitor the maintenance work being undertaken. This work involves combining two housing units into a single unit, with each upgraded unit featuring three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

n addition to the RKAT maintenance work, YB Minister of Defence presented the maintenance work allocation for the year 2024, amounting to RM3,065,602 to the Naval Region 1 Headquarters, RM7,414,350 to the 4th Brigade Headquarters (Mechanized), and RM12,040,000 to Kuantan Air Base.

Additionally, the MADANI Education Donation by the Armed Forces Fund Board (LTAT) Foundation was presented to 10 Year 1 students, who are children of MAF personnel for the year 2024. Welfare assistance was also provided to 50 personnel or their heirs suffering from chronic diseases.
