info

SABAH, 12 May 2024 – Deputy Minister of Defence, YB Adly Zahari resumed the Peduli Veteran Madani (PVM) series in Sabah from the 10th to 12th of May 2024.

The Peduli Veteran Madani (PVM) initiative included welfare visits to 13 veterans' homes in need of assistance. These visits involved the provision of essential equipment such as patient beds, wheelchairs, crutches, disposable diapers, and milk, as well as donations of cash and food boxes.

The Deputy Minister of Defence also tracked down four MAF Veteran entrepreneurs to collect data on MAF Veteran entrepreneurs across the country and deliver donations as part of the PVM incentives.

In addition, the Malaysian Service Medal (PJM) was awarded to one veteran in Kota Kinabalu.

The JHEV ATM will continue to support five Welfare Assistance Schemes: Livelihood Assistance, Schooling Assistance, Admission Assistance to Higher Education Institutions, Patient Equipment Assistance, and Natural Disaster Assistance, with a total allocation of RM244 million. The Ministry of Defence remains committed to enhancing these programs to ensure that no MAF Veteran is excluded from receiving the incentives provided.
