
Melaka, 13 October 2024 – Deputy Minister of Defence, YB Adly Zahari, led the Santuni MADANI programme at Kampung Bukit Bayan, Bukit Katil, bringing various initiatives and services to the local community.
The programme featured a range of activities aimed at enhancing community welfare, including health and dental checkups from the Health Services Division of the Malaysian Armed Forces (BPK), Veterans Services Counter by the Malaysian Armed Forces Veterans Affairs Department (JHEV) and various counters from the Local Authorities (PBT).
As part of fostering unity and community spirit, the Jiwa Murni programme included a gotong-royong session to clean the local mosque. This activity was organized in collaboration with the 514 Regiment of the Territorial Army and actively involved local residents.
The Deputy Minister also made time to meet and greet two Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF) veterans in the area, acknowledging their contributions and ensuring their welfare needs were addressed.
