JOHOR, 22 June 2024 – Deputy Minister of Defence, YB Adly Zahari, conducted the Peduli Veteran MADANI (PVM) programme by visiting 11 Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF) veterans in Muar during his latest two-day visit from the 21st to 22nd of June 2024.
The welfare visits included veterans who were sick, suffering from chronic illnesses, and those in need of assistance. YB Adly Zahari was honored to present contributions in the form of daily necessities.
Additionally, YB Adly Zahari met and exchanged views with MAF veteran entrepreneurs engaged in food stalls and barbershop businesses within the Muar region.
He also held a dialogue session with the Johor MAF Veterans Association to have a direct conversation with the veterans. Concurrently, he had the opportunity to convey the latest policies and updates regarding veteran affairs.
The PVM initiative serves as a platform for two-way interaction between the Ministry of Defence and MAF veterans, encompassing the five main focus areas of welfare, health, housing, education, and the empowerment of the MAF veterans' economy.
