CAMERON HIGHLAND, 21 May 2024 – Deputy Minister of Defence, YB Adly Zahari met and greeted MAF Veterans in Cameron Highland in the Program Veteran Madani (PVM) Pahang.

In expressing the ministry's commitment to reach out to MAF Veterans from all walks of life, YB Adly Zahari has courted indigenous veterans. It includes welfare visits to 5 veterans who are chronically ill and infirm.

YB Adly also had the opportunity to interact with veterans through a Dialogue Session with MAF Veterans in Pahang. During the interaction, he provided direct responses to the issues presented and expressed his commitment to refining good proposals at the JHEV and Ministry levels.

The Peduli Veteran Madani (PVM) initiative is an effort by the Ministry of Defence to empower the welfare and well-being of MAF veterans as outlined under the 7th Pillar of the MINDEF Strategic Plan: Improvement of the Management of Welfare Assistance Facilities.
